You can find our ultra favorite recipe on my old blog at http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/Honeybee/416675/

There are a couple of adjustments I've made. I use 1/3 c of the coconut oil and it's much tastier and better for you. We also change out the nuts using sliced almonds occassionally, in place of pumpkin seeds. I'm sure it would be tasty w/o the nuts too!

This is REALLY good stuff!

I can't wait to see all the recipes because I have been looking for one too that doesn't use nuts and is not so heavy on the sugar.

After seeing your post, I linked you over at my blog along with asking for my own recipe help. :)

I can't wait to see all the recipes.

The one I have used is and I omitted the nuts
4 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. honey/maple syrup
1/4 t. salt
Melt butter and honey or syrup. Combine with oatmeal and salt. Pour onto shallow pan (I usually use a jelly roll pan). Bake at 300 for 30 minutes. Stir after 15. :D ENjoy!

Here's a granola I make for our nut-free household. You can add nuts/seeds/whatever. It's also a very flexible recipe as far as sweetness goes.
