Have you ever reheated them in the oven…I am having a lot of company in a few weeks and doing so many won’t work in the toaster…I don’t have a microwave…but I must make as much in advance as possible. I’m planning to make your whole wheat applesauce pancakes. Love those!

Thanks for the tip! I feel like it takes forever to make pancakes, so they are a rare treat around here. I love cooking in bulk and freezing extras for later and will be adding this to my bulk cooking recipes! I also love the idea of reusing a bagel bag. I hate how many of ours go to waste. But, not anymore!

I wish pancakes lasted that long here. We usually just put them in wax bag in the fridge, and they are gone in a day or two. But this is a great idea.

i finally figured out that, when I reheat them in the microwave, I should do what the frozen storeboughts say: put them in a pile, NOT next to each other. 3 = 1 min. 4 = 1:15.

For some reason, they don’t reheat well when ya just put them flat on the plate…

I love doing this with pancakes. The best part is that my kids feel big because they get to “cook” breakfast by popping a couple pancakes in the toaster!

Love you bagel bag idea! I have been freezing pancakes for a while and just recently started freezing other breakfast items, as well (your whole wheat/cornmeal waffles, and breakfast muffins are awesome!). What a great way to have a nicer breakfast during the week, without having to get up an extra half hour earlier to do it, or feel rushed out the door! Now, I want to make English muffin breakfast sandwiches and see if they freeze well…

I am totally going to do this!! I’ll need to figure out a different storage method because I buy bagel thins on the rare occasion I buy bagels and the bag is not shaped like a tube.
