Homemade Ginger Peach Iced Tea
  • 7 bags black tea
  • 1 2-inch piece of ginger, peeled and sliced
  • 1 quart boiling water
  • 1 cup ice
  • 2 cups frozen peaches
  • ⅓ cup agave nectar (may substitute sugar to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  1. Place tea, ginger and boiling water in a heat proof container. Allow tea to steep for 5 to 7 minutes. Remove tea bags and strain out ginger slices.
  2. Pour half the tea into a pitcher.
  3. Add remaining tea, frozen peaches, agave nectar and lemon juice to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  4. Mix peaches into tea.
  5. Serve in glasses filled with ice.
