Wow, that is amazing about the bird! I love Kid’s Eat Free nights, it is the only time eating out is doable for our family.

Yesterday, we took the kids to a local park and brought some wild bird seed. My oldest DD stood very still and a little chickadee landed on her hand ate the bird feed. Of course the other two wanted the same thing to happen to them so we were at the park for quite awhile, so we took kids to our favourite restaurant (East Side Mario’s)and we were surprised to find out it was kids-eat-free night. It’s great to get out and enjoy the weather and “splurge” every so often

Sounds fun!! I need to figure out which restaurants near me have a kids eat free night and when it is – now that all three of mine are eating that would be the only way we can eat out.

Sometimes it’s ok to splurge and get out of the house! I know that breaking up the routine everyonce in a while can be challenging and fun. I enjoy going out to dinner with my family and we try to do it once a month. Helps the kids practice their table manners outside the house and give mommy a break from cooking. I consider it my day off!
