That was one of my TOP resolutions last year! I found that by cutting out (or rather reducing) convenience foods, we saved money AND ate healthier!

Oh my goodness honestly I think I would pass out if I added up the cost of just fast food alone in 2009. One of my goals for this year is to go an entire month without eating out–first we have to make it a week though!! I would say at least $2500 on eating out alone, just looking at that number makes me sick.

that picture cracks me up! i guess i missed that one at the commissary! um, but aren’t all sweet potatoes microwavable? poke a few holes and stick it in!

It definitely cost me less in 2009 than in years prior since I started couponing & was more proactive in reducing unnecessary spending.
